# Reputation and satisfaction monitoring

How people see you is not decided by your posts alone. It is decided by reviews, ratings and what the press writes, all of it happening outside your own channels.

gas follows the ratings of your places on review portals and keeps a history of them, so you see not just the current score but the direction it is heading. Alongside that, gas watches the media: you enter the phrases that matter to you and it collects mentions from articles, each with a link to the source and an excerpt of the text.
